Job #4406 – A fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional with both accounting and payroll experience to join our well known and respected NFP client. The successful applicant will have experience in payroll and a strong understanding of basic accounting principles. Reporting to the Director of Finance, main responsibilities include:
- Process bi-weekly payroll including taxable benefits, bonus payments and special payments
- Input payroll related transactions and maintain accurate employee records
- Process staff and corporate expense claims and conduct monthly credit card reconciliations
- Full cycle invoice processing including GL coding, verifying PO and contracts and ensuring payments are issued in a timely manner
- Prepare invoices, account statements and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing process

Qualifications
Mandatory:
The main qualifications for this role include:
- Formal education in accounting or finance
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a payroll focused position
- Knowledge of basic accounting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail
- Experience with ADP WFN is considered a strong asset
Compensation, Perks & Opportunities:
- $60,000-$70,000 annual salary
- 3 weeks’ vacation
