Organization Summary: The Students’ Association is an autonomous, student-led organization that is dedicated to serving and representing students at NorQuest College. We represent and advocate for students, offer meaningful opportunities for students to get involved and provide a range of services to assist students when they need support.
Position Summary: The Students’ Association of NorQuest College is currently seeking to fill the position of Student Services Administrator. In this role, the Student Services Administrator will create a positive, welcoming environment for everyone that interacts with the SANQC office. This role is perfect for someone who is a team player, who wants to brighten the lives of students by delivering the services they need in a quick and efficient manner.
The ideal candidate has:
Certificate or Diploma in Human Services or Business Administration
1 year experience in a customer service role

Responsibilities and duties:
Handle all inquiries to the SANQC office in a responsive and helpful manner
Answer Health & Dental Plans and U-Pass concerns
Track Health & Dental Plans and U-pass issues
Meet with students to assist them with the process of filing an appeal or grievance with the College
Work with the Service Manager to resolve students’ concerns
Handle in office and online retail sales
Complete cash-in and cash-out procedures
Track information for various registrations
Assist with various student focused events and activities
Inform students about activities, resources and opportunities
Assist with various administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, scanning documents and tracking inventory
Qualifications:
Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration or related field
Proficient in working with Microsoft applications
Skilled at meeting deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment
A good understanding of post-secondary landscape in Alberta would be an asset
Previous experience working in a student environment or not-for-profit organizations is a bonus
