The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with the construction team to ensure safe, productive, and profitable execution of Subsurface projects.
Description of duties:
– Support construction team executing driven, helical & piling projects upon award;
– Generating daily field tickets for ongoing projects
– Assist in completing bid takeoffs and developing estimates focused on specialty foundations;
– Development of Construction Execution Plans, Quality Plans, Site Specific Safety Plans
– Assembling subcontractor pricing;
-Client liaison, development and retention including visiting customers onsite;
– Review, edit, and finalize: pile logs, drilling logs, daily work tickets, safety documentation; MTRs – submit to senior management
– Complete daily project tracking and production logging including client specific reports, look backs and invoicing
-Develop Requests for Information (RFIs), Change Orders (Cos), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
– Development of detailed project turnover packages; and
-Act as relief and support for Operations Manager as required;
– Other duties as assigned.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with driven piling is considered an asset (but not required)
- Computer literacy with expertise in Microsoft Office
- Engineering or technical college graduate considered an asset (but not required)
- P.Eng., CET, PMP considered an asset (but not required)
- Minimum Class 5 license with clean record
- Strong acumen in project planning and management
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills required
- Must be a team player
