Hybrid Work Model

The Opportunity:
As an Associate Director, Talent Acquisition, you will lead the effort to develop the talent pipeline and acquire best in class team members critical to the achievement of SLC Management’s growth strategy. You will own and execute the overall talent acquisition strategy, process and delivery for a variety of business areas in SLC across North America with a primary focus on Canada. The ideal candidate builds strong relationships proactively nurturing and engaging talent, understands the markets – both internal and external; and knows where to find quality candidates and continuously looks to improve candidate, new hire, hiring manager and recruiter experience.
How you will contribute:
Build and foster strong relationships with business stakeholders and HR Business Partners to develop a deep understanding of the business and culture; and deliver results in a growing asset management business
Manage the full recruitment life cycle; facilitate the initial In-take meeting, source, screen and qualify candidates via phone screen, present candidates to hiring managers, facilitate debrief sessions, take direction from hiring manager for offer salary and ultimately the placement of successful candidates
Develop comprehensive knowledge of the job specifications to include experience, skills and capabilities needed for success in each role
Promote the SLC Brand and employee value proposition (EVP) to all prospective candidates and work to build a strong talent pipeline for existing and future opportunities
Provide market intelligence and insight to develop sourcing and recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent. Conduct industry research, keeping abreast of the latest news and industry trends of the recruitment world
Serve as a strategic and vocal advocate supporting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in our strategy and approach and throughout each recruiting process
Manage communication to key stakeholders (hiring managers, Human Resource Business Partners, candidates), ensuring timely and accurate updates on status and feedback
Identify and deliver continuous improvements to deliver an exceptional end to end experience
What you will bring with you:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing and recruiting. Proven success in an agency, search firm environment or full life cycle recruiting role with an emphasis on investments / asset management preferred.
Self-motivated, high initiative, confident, and able to work effectively with little supervision.
Flexibility and resilience to adapt to multiple demands, shifting priorities and changing business conditions.
Ability to work with complexity and ambiguity as we work in a fast-paced environment of growth and change.
Strong time management skills – organizational skills, follow-up and attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with hiring managers and HR business partners.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong team contributor, sharing ideas, knowledge, and best practices.
Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies and practices to find top talent by leveraging social networks, research tools, as well as other creative techniques, talent acquisition processes and systems.
Experience with various recruiting technology platforms including Workday, Beamery and/or HiredScore is preferred.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location of the job. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
