Familiarity with information systems Sunquest, Bed Management System (BMS), Quadramed and cITm. Knowledge of registration of microbiology samples preferred. Lab automation experience is an asset. The MLA is responsible for: Receiving, sorting, labelling and distribution of specimens to work stations, updating patients’ information, filing and retrieving records, verifying and registering patient demographics. The MLA is also responsible for performing phlebotomy and ECG procedures at the Specimen Collection Centre. Experience with ePPID is preferred. Current certificate in Transportation of Dangerous Goods is required.
