Sunshine Cosmetic Clinic and Medi Spa Looking for Medical Spa Manager at Waterloo, ON Full Time

We are currently hiring a Medical Spa Manager. The suitable candidates will have formal Medical Clinic managerial experience and should be passionate about the beauty industry. Managerial leadership, outstanding customer service, sale and marketing skills are essential, as well as the ability to educate and guide staff and clients in skin care products.

The Medical Spa Manager will oversee all aspects of clinic operations including managing staff, overseeing facility maintenance, developing budgets and creating marketing and promotional campaigns, etc.

Requirements:

• Must live in the Kitchener Waterloo area.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as Manager in the beauty Industry, in medical clinic, or medspa environment
• Medical or health related college degree preferred
• Knowledge of spa products and medical cosmetic procedures and inventory management
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive a positive and proactive team culture
• High computer literacy and strong verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to create and implement such documents as staff schedules, safety rules, standard operating procedures, and performance reviews

Responsibilities:

• Managing daily operations of the clinic including placing and tracking orders for clinic supplies and equipment.
• Supervising all clinic operations including open and close procedures, inventory management, and bank deposits
• Exercise an adept knowledge of the full range of facial and body treatments offered at the clinic
• Maintain established procedures to ensure all treatment rooms, restrooms, stock room and reception areas are clean and organized
• Establish clinic budgets and financial goals
• Complete quarterly monthly performance reviews and human resource needs assessments.
• Analyze and monitor Key Performance Indicators (Contract sales, department profits, expenses, retention, etc.) to identify trends, opportunities, and deficiencies; take action to positively impact revenues and profit.

• Support front desk staff, interact directly with customers to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction with clinic services and personnel
• Perform accounting duties, such as recording daily cash flow, preparing bank deposits, or generating financial statements as per direction from the owner
• Develop or implement marketing strategies and client retention initiatives
• Provide outstanding hands-on service to clients

• Ensure team members complete all paperwork, client forms, client correspondence, etc. in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Ensure all patients receive a proper consultation and treatment recommendations
• Checking clients in and out, knowledgeable of all medical aesthetic and clinic services, retail products and assist in scheduling follow-up visits.
• Investigate and resolve all complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied clients into return clients.
• Oversee patient leads. Ensure all client leads are promptly contacted and proper follow-up is completed and recorded and scheduled
• Build client confidence, committed to increasing client satisfaction, sets achievable client expectations, assumes responsibility for solving client problems and ensures commitments to clients are met
• Model the brand, values, and lifestyle and maintain a professional image at all times; set high standards for self based upon competency model; build an effective network within the company, across all departments, and within the local market.
• Ensure team members complete all paperwork, client forms, client correspondence, etc. in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Ensure medical staff are adhering to treatment standards and are fully executing the department’s programs and procedures. Enhance current and create new standards as per healthcare regulations.
• Research and resolve client concerns promptly; share best practices regarding client retention and service with other departments/managers so all can learn from concerns and solutions; put the client first and model service and care standards at all times.

Salary: $40,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
