Helper/General Labourer

JOB SUMMARY – Location is in Mississauga

The General Labourer/Helper is responsible for performing hydro vac excavation on job sites, while safely following all health and safety policies and procedures. They may be required to drive G licensed equipment and must be able to perform physical labour work for long periods of time throughout the day. This individual will have a willingness to learn and be able to cooperatively work with their team so that Super Sucker can provide quality service to customers and clients.

SUPER SUCKER provides all your PPE, and an annual PPE allowance as well as a $200 boot allowance.

KEY RESPONSIBITLIES

· Safely perform hydro vac excavation on jobs sites across Southern Ontario

· Provide excellent customer service as you represent the Super Sucker brand

· Troubleshoot issues and equipment, including preventative maintenance

· Opportunity to perform various support work connected to excavation including the operation of equipment such as coring trucks, cement mixer trucks, slinger trucks, and suction excavators

· Follow all legislation and regulations set out by the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Super Sucker’s Policies & Standard Operating Procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

· Safety oriented and a team player attitude

· Willingness to learn

· G license required

· Previous experience in construction fields an asset

· Ability to safely use and lift heavy equipment

SCHEDULE & WORKING CONDITIONS

· Monday to Friday; Saturday and Emergency work on weekends may be required

· Full time; but hours may vary each day

· Field and on the road environment

· Outdoor work, exposed to all types of weather conditions

· Physical labour demands

· Long days depending on season and weather

*Mandatory On-Call (On Call pay) Out of Town work (per diems)

*Driver’s Abstract Needed before the interview

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $20.00 per hour
