Position Overview:
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing our supply chain operations, ensuring efficient and effective processes from procurement to distribution. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a proven track record in supply chain management within the import sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Manage the procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and relationship management.
- Oversee inventory management, optimizing stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs.
- Coordinate logistics and transportation to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and finance, to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
- Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
- Ensure compliance with import regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the import/export industry.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
