The Surrey School District invites applications from outstanding educational leaders for the position of District Principal in Inclusive Learning/Student Support. The District Principal is an integral member of the district education leadership team working alongside other District Principals and our Director of Instruction. A belief in success for all learners, and a genuine appreciation and passion for supporting students with exceptional learning needs is essential. The qualifications required for selection include a minimum of a Master’s degree along with significant school leadership experience.

extensive knowledge of effectives practices along with varied experiences working with neurodiverse learners and their families;
deep understanding, appreciation, and application of principles of Universal Design for Learning
superior interpersonal communications skills and relational competencies;

integrity, collaboration, and a commitment to on-going professional learning;
inclusive leadership that is based on transparency, cultivates team-work and trust, and values diverse points of view;
experience demonstrating the ability to successfully lead educational and systems change
ability to work under pressure and navigate situations involving competing interests; and
a passionate commitment to making a difference in the lives of all learners.
