The Position
The Store Manager will lead by example and provide sales, operational and personnel leadership to create memorable customer experiences while ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded.
Responsibilities
- Opening and closing of the retail space.
- Ensure each customer receives outstanding service, whether online, in store, or on the phone.
- Build lasting relationships with our customers.
- Present a well-stocked, clean, and beautifully presented sales floor.
- Present our product in appealing, selling ways.
- Create attractive gift baskets for sale and custom order.
- Drive store sales to achieve agreed budgets and margin targets.
- Order supplies from vendors and manage inventory.
- Oversee sales associates, approve timesheets, and manage scheduling.
- Coordinate deliveries.
Qualifications
- 5 years of successful retail management (preferably in the gift industry)
- Strong command of Microsoft Office and social media
- Ability to lift 50lbs and work standing for extended periods of time
- Driver’s license with clean abstract – required
- English – required
- Experience creating gift baskets / floral arrangements – nice to have
