Responsibilities:
Work directly with transportation 3PLs, warehousing, and carriers to ensure business and project goals are met.
Tracking purchase orders and shipments by entering data into various systems and platforms including Excel, Netsuite and generate various reports to meet and manage business needs.
Assist with Transportation RFQ.
Maintain and validate worldwide air, ocean and domestic freight rates and tariffs.
Weekly invoice auditing to ensure appropriate charges are incurred from 3PL and service providers and work with Account Payables to ensure accurate and timely payment of freight invoices.
Coordinates with freight carriers and forwarders to maintain SLA and delivery schedules.
Complete and verify transportation data, such as POD, BOL, and commercial invoices, and pack slips are accurate and answer any questions Customs Broker may have.
Coordinates with Buyers and Site Project Managers to ensure all shipping instructions are clearly understood and followed.
Support purchasing, project sites and warehousing in transit issues.
Communicate air/ocean market updates to cross-functional teams.
Coordinate daily with forwarders for entry of import shipments and scheduling of delivery appointments.
Investigates/directs shipper or consignee complaints regarding lost or damaged merchandise or shortages in shipment to determine responsibility.
Build relationships with various carriers to ensure deadlines and commitments are met.
Making sure visibility of life of a shipment is proactively communicated.
Use data from ERP systems to evaluate performance and quality and to plan improvements

Requirements:
Minimum 7 years of job related experience in similar fields
Knowledge and understanding of U.S. Customs and Canadian Customs requirements (Tariff codes and USMCA).
HS Diploma required, or equivalent work experience
Excellent Excel skills required: Pivot, V‐Look Ups, Formulas & Functions
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project Plan, Visio)
Customer service experience and strong communication skills required
Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly, concisely and professionally.
Results oriented, organized, highly motivated and detailed
Ability to multi‐task and prioritize
Netsuite experience preferred, experience with an ERP System a must
Strong adaptability to new systems and technical platforms
Bilingual in French and English

Responsabilités :
Travailler directement avec les 3PL de transport, l’entreposage et les transporteurs pour s’assurer que les objectifs de l’entreprise et du projet sont atteints.
Assurer le suivi des bons de commande et des expéditions en saisissant les données dans divers systèmes et plateformes, notamment Excel et Netsuite et générer divers rapports pour répondre aux besoins de l’entreprise.
Aider à l’élaboration des appels d’offres de transport.
Maintenir et valider les tarifs et les taux de transport aérien, maritime et national dans le monde entier.
Vérification hebdomadaire des factures afin de s’assurer que les frais appropriés sont encourus par les fournisseurs de services et les fournisseurs de services tiers et collaborer avec le service des comptes créditeurs afin de garantir le paiement précis et opportun des factures de fret.
Coordonner avec les transporteurs de marchandises et les transporteurs pour maintenir les accords de niveau de service et les calendriers de livraison.
Compléter et vérifier l’exactitude des données de transport, telles que les POD, BOL, factures commerciales et bordereaux d’expédition et répondre aux questions du courtier des douanes.
Coordonner avec les acheteurs et les chefs de projet des sites pour s’assurer que toutes les instructions d’expédition sont clairement comprises et suivies.
Soutenir les achats, les sites de projet et l’entreposage dans les questions de transit.
Communiquer les mises à jour du marché aérien/océanique aux équipes interfonctionnelles.
Coordonner quotidiennement avec les transporteurs l’entrée des expéditions d’importation et la programmation des rendez-vous de livraison.
Enquêter sur les plaintes de l’expéditeur ou du destinataire concernant des marchandises perdues ou endommagées ou des manques dans l’expédition et en déterminer la responsabilité.
Établir des relations avec les différents transporteurs pour s’assurer que les délais et les engagements sont respectés.
S’assurer que la visibilité de la vie d’une expédition est communiquée de manière proactive.
Utiliser les données des systèmes ERP pour évaluer les performances et la qualité et pour planifier les améliorations.
S’acquitter d’autres responsabilités selon les besoins/la mission.
Exigences :
Minimum de 7 ans d’expérience professionnelle dans des domaines similaires.
Connaissance et compréhension des exigences des douanes américaines et canadiennes (codes tarifaires et USMCA).
Diplôme d’études supérieures requis, ou expérience professionnelle équivalente
Excellentes compétences en Excel requises : Pivot, V-Look Ups, formules et fonctions.
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project Plan, Visio)
Expérience du service à la clientèle et fortes compétences en communication requises
Capacité à communiquer des informations et des idées de manière claire, concise et professionnelle.

Expérience de Netsuite de préférence, expérience avec un système ERP indispensable.
