Murex Consultant – 6 Months contract (initial) – Hybrid – Toronto, Canada
Synchro is currently seeking an experience Murex Consultant to join an international client of ours on a contract basis. The Murex Consultant will be involved in supporting Murex applications utilised across equity, commodities, IRD, and FX cash trading desks.
Note: This is a hybrid role, and the Murex Consultant will be required to be onsite in Toronto, Canada 2 days per week.
Murex Consultant Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience as Murex consultant (Financial services) – MXML/Workflows
- Proficiency in back-office functions, including payment processing, settlement and confirmation.
- Application support experience
- Configuration & development of Workflows, interfaces with internal and external systems within the Murex environment
- Strong knowledge of Murex architecture & implementation
- Proficiency in Unix and SQL queries
- Experience across equity, commodities, IRD and FX cash trading desk.
Desirable Skills for the Murex Consultant:
- Experience with Agile / DevOps framework
- Basic knowledge of Pre-trade and Murex DataMart
- Exposure to FO modules of Murex (i.e. E-Tradepad, Livebook, Dynamic tables)
