SLV Quality Inspector
The quality inspector pilots actions within the scope of his sector to guarantee the conformity of the product and the installation, and to contribute to continuous improvement.
Goals
Guarantee the conformity of products and installations in its sector by respecting the plan
Quality Control.
Ensure control, precise identification, recording, validation of defects after
repair and finally the closure of the rework and RNC points.
Problem solving: monitoring, rigor, responsiveness, efficiency, strength of proposal.
Deployment of Quality animation to installation teams
Evolution of the quantity of NCR and open rework points (Punch-list and NCR SLV).
Responsibilities
Guarantee product and installation conformity
Guarantee the implementation of the detailed Quality control plan at the position: stopping points, criteria,
means, frequency.
Carry out inspections as soon as possible.
Write inspection reports (completed with evidence).
Precisely identify RNC and retouching, record them, monitor and validate their processing.
Analyze, participate in the definition of action plans and monitor their implementation (curative, corrective, etc.).
Participate in problem solving.
Authorize the release of products and installations.
Provide the elements to compile the SLV inspection reports of the installations.
Manage quality on a daily basis
Ensure daily Quality coordination with the installation teams (example of defects, axis
improvement, etc.)
Support the installation team for the implementation of actions contributing to improvement
general Quality (reduction of non-quality, effectiveness of self-control, good first
cut, …).
Proposal for improvement of the detailed control plan: internal improvement (relevance), etc.
Participation in the SLV Quality network
Be a driving force in Quality assurance.
Participate in the development of an interdepartmental Quality spirit.
Participate in the development of a team spirit conducive to the development of everyone.
Compliance with EHS rules
Respect the EHS rules in force
Demonstrate analysis and rigor in order to anticipate risks
Ensure their protection and that of their colleagues.
Required profile
Available quickly mainly during the day from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Available occasionally at night or on weekends.
Rigorous; accurate; quality mindset; know how to work in a team and maintain a good team spirit.
Computer knowledge (Sharepoint, Office Suite)
Knowledge of the CSA (Canadian Electrical Standard) (cable and electrical cabinet; power) or the TIA – 569 standard (telecommunications standard)
Experience
Experience in quality inspection (in the field)
Knowledge in the electrical and/or telecommunications field
Diploma
DEC or DEP related to the field of electricity or telecommunication
