As an intermediate developer, you will be responsible for creating a top-level code base using best practices and methodologies, improving application and database performance, and mentoring junior / intermediate developers. Your role will require you to implement an exciting and streamlined user experience in the form of an Angular Ionic application.
To ensure success as an intermediate MEAN developer, you should have extensive knowledge of theoretical software engineering, be proficient in TypeScript / JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and have excellent project management skills. Ultimately, a top-class Angular developer can design and build a streamlined application to company specifications that perfectly meet the needs of the user.
What an Intermediate Developer at Syzl Does
- Developing user interfaces using Angular / Ionic best practices.
- Developing APIs in NodeJS using the Parse Platform, Express, and GraphQL.
- Improving and expanding test coverage with Karma.
- Monitoring and improving database performance.
- Writing TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Developing product analysis tasks.
- Making complex technical and design decisions for Angular projects.
- Conducting performance tests.
- Consulting with the design team.
- Mentoring junior developers.
- Ensuring high performance of applications.
- Providing technical support to the Growth team.
What You May Have
- Previous work experience leading a team of Angular developers.
- Proficient in TypeScript / JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and writing cross-browser-compatible code.
- Experience creating YAML-based build pipelines.
- Knowledge of JavaScript MV-VM/MVC frameworks including Angular.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Proven experience implementing front-end and back-end JavaScript applications.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Critical thinker and good problem-solver.
- Love of food! We work closely with food makers and a love for food is essential. Bonus if you like to cook.
