Fully Remote – Business Development Representative (360 IT Recruitment)
Location: Canada (Remote) with headquarters in Toronto

exclusively on software Product and Engineering positions for Canadian Startups and Small Businesses.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with agency recruitment experience and
at least 4 years of progressive experience in the Canadian Industry. You’ll be well
accustomed to Canada’s top companies and have proven Business Development experience, while also having experience with Recruitment. You should be tenacious, hungry for success, and looking to build a successful book of business that you can nurture and grow for years to come.
You will be supported by our Founder as well as our current team of experienced recruiters to
ensure we satisfy the client’s needs by providing quality candidates in a timely manner.
Some of the roles we recruit for include; Javascript (React, Node, Vue, Angular), Ruby on Rails,
Python, Go, Elixir, Java, .NET core, iOS, Android, Product Managers, Product Designers,
DevOps ( AWS, GCP, Azure), Engineering Managers, Directors of Technology and so on.

Daily Responsibilities:
● Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, cold-calling, emailing,
and networking. This is a hunting role with the expectation of 70%+ of your time finding
new business, opening new accounts and growing your existing book of business
● Develop and nurture relationships with potential clients through regular communication
and meetings
● Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales
goals
● Promote TalentTank Recruiting’s services and value proposition to potential clients
● Set clear expectations to the team about your open requirements and updates on who is
in the process
● Headhunt using a variety of tools and recruitment channels to find the right candidates
for your/our open positions
● Schedule interviews, conduct feedback calls, and close candidates once we get to that
stage
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and opportunities in our
CRM system
● Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships and generate new
business opportunities
Desired Skills and Experience:
● 4+ years of Business Development experience (at least 2 years of agency experience);
● 2+ years of Linkedin Recruiter/Headhunting experience;
● 2+ years of candidate interview experience;
● Experience working in the Canadian Recruitment Industry (any vertical)
● Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
● Self-motivated, with the ability to thrive in a faced paced environment; Ability to work
independently and as part of a team
● Sales – Driven Personality
● Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
