We are looking for a capable Administrative Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities
Provides administrative support to all levels of staff to ensure efficient operation of a remote office
Provides senior level administrative support to the CEO including email and calendar management
Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks that facilitate the CEO’s ability to effectively lead the organization
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications on all matters pertaining to the CEO
Work closely with the CEO to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately
Makes travel arrangements for staff such as booking flights, cars, and hotel
Assists with tradeshow planning and logistics
Provides backup duties to accounting/HR as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent education required
3 years of administrative assistant experience
Knowledge of appropriate software including: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
Event coordinating experience an asset
Skills
Excellent organizational, communication, time management and interpersonal skills
MS Office including MS Excel and Word, Google Gsuite, Bamboo HR, Xero accounting software, Slack
High aptitude for learning new software tools
Able to work remotely without supervision
