Global Transaction Banking (GTB) is a key growth business within TD Securities that provides the opportunity to make an impact with top tier organizations. Job Description:
About This Role
TDS has embarked on a multi-year digital transformation of Global Transaction Banking to position the transaction bank as a leading North American multi-currency treasury provider, enabling significant business growth across the TDS franchise. This role presents an opportunity to design and develop the build the next-generation of GTB’s transaction banking capabilities to (i) extend a highly successful GTB business into the US and Canada; and (ii) to future-proof business with a platform that can evolve at minimal cost as client and industry needs & expectations continue to evolve. We are looking for a talented senior engineer with, Java/Spring Boot automation experience to join the team to build & execute test processes, ensure quality control standards for GTB.
Responsibilities:

Being a part of GTB Technology team, be responsible for hands-on development of automated quality processes and executions of GTB applications

Act as a Test Automation Lead for GTB tech team who can take end to end responsibility of test automation processes, estimates required for planning, collaborate efficiently with other tech automation engineers and developers

Analyze and identify test scenarios to be automated
-
Utilize standard test automation frameworks to design, build and maintain programs/scripts that run automated tests on code produced by the team.

Continuously improve automated testing methodologies to enable test SMEs to maximize test coverage of the full depth of enterprise product.

Actively participate in scrum ceremonies of multiple workstreams, coordinate with all cross functional team members and contribute to solutioning of test automation processes in the pods.

Conduct proof of concept on new technologies automated test processes, vendor solutions.

As required, able to participate in hands-on development build work, review and code check-ins and work with developers

Ability to break-down functional requirements into technical requirements by creating appropriate technical/data solutions.

Able to resolve/troubleshoot, suggest solutions for post-production defects and issues.

Participate in design discussions on scalability, performance, security, best practices.

Must Have:

6+ years of experience in Test Automation using Selenium-Java-Springboot.

3+ years of API testing/automation experience
-
Experience in creating/maintaining automation BDD/TDD framework (Using Cucumber, Maven,Jenkins)

Strong understanding of web, mobile, API, packaged and database test automation technologies.
-
Hands on experience web-based applications, and rest APIs
-
Hands on experience using tools like Postman, Swagger, and version control tools such as Git, Bitbucket, build tools as Maven/Jenkins
-
Strong knowledge writing SQL/NoSQL queries.
-
Very good knowledge on test processes and hands-on experience of preparing testing artifacts such as test cases, test plans.

Knowledge of testing background in the Canadian financial services industry
Nice to Have:
-
Cloud platforms experience (ideally Azure) and related technologies (e.g., Spring Cloud)

React/Typescript/Javascript hands-on development experience.
Education/Accreditations:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
