Telma Grant P.T. Looking for Physio Clinic, Front Desk/Office Assistant at Bowmanville, ON Full Time

We are an upbeat clinic looking to add another “people person” to our team. We treat a diverse population under various programs, and are Clarington’s only Publicly Funded Physio Clinic. The right candidate will have atleast 2 years of experience working in an administrative role, within a clinic setting.

Required Skills for this role include the following:

-Thorough knowledge of billing through Telus Health, WSIB, and HCAI, along with an understanding of OHIP funded policies.

– Working knowledge of electronic fax, email, Microsoft, Excel, and word processing.

-Knowledge of Practice Perfect Software would be considered an asset.

-You must possess a clear and professional phone demeanour, and understand the importance of privacy, and accuracy, with a strong work ethic.

-You will be responsible for patient scheduling, retrieval of medical referrals, related imaging, and patient information.

-Accuracy is a must! Forward thinking and common sense should come naturally, and you will possess initiative and the ability to work unsupervised.

-You are a team player, and appreciate a clean and well organized front desk and clinic.
