We are looking for a dynamic Team Member Experience Advisor to join our team and help shape an exceptional experience for all members of our Care Centres team. This role will report directly to the General Manager for TELUS Health Care Centres .

As the Team Member Experience Advisor, you will build and execute successful projects to drive an extraordinary team member experience and help foster a remarkable and inclusive culture across THCC. You will leverage your brilliant communication, project management and collaboration skills to customize the experience of all TELUS Health Care Centre team members and to enable leaders to attract and retain top talent to our team.
What you’ll do
Develop, lead and own a customized onboarding experience for THCC. This includes building the onboarding materials, tools, templates and checklists to “systematize” a consistent process; engaging new team members before their start date to generate excitement, and conducting weekly check-ins with new team members (over first 30-60-90 days) to ensure a best in class experience for new hires
Own the creation of materials, such as job profiles and interview guides, to support leaders in a consistent approach to assessing candidates, ensuring we are seeking top talent to join our team
Accountable for key projects (e.g. recognition, lunch & learns) within each Care Centre that support our ongoing focus on improving engagement
Act as a cultural ambassador across the team leading by example in all of your interactions and demonstrating what good looks like for a THCC team member
Partner with leaders and People & Culture on Town Halls and other THCC-wide team initiatives to continuously strengthen our connectivity
Partner with internal communications team on all team-wide communications
Identify opportunities and execute rapid response on team member experience quick wins in partnership with THCC leaders & People & Culture
Qualifications
What you bring
Strong leadership skills gained from coaching and/or management experience
Passion for inspiring and engaging individuals to become the best they can be
Excellent consulting and relationship management skills
Strong project management capabilities
Strong communication skills including: verbal, written and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple demands simultaneously
Background in a healthcare environment
Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Google Workspace (formerly GSuite) and ability to adapt to internal systems
Post-Secondary education in Business Administration or Human Resources
Minimum of 5+ solid years of experience in a Human Resources/People and Culture role in a healthcare organization
Bilingual (French and English) is an asset
