The Specifics

The focus of the HR Generalist role will be to:

• Create, review and update client policies, handbooks, and other documents to ensure they are compliant with the relevant legislation as well as best practices

• Investigate and resolve employee relations issues
• Provide advice on performance and disciplinary issues
• Assist with the administration of terminations per client needs
• Prepare material for training sessions and seminars
• Keep current with existing and proposed laws and regulations affecting HR practices

• Assist with specialized projects such as compensation reviews, HR audits, and HRIS implementations
• Recruitment support
• Other HR & Administrative tasks, as required

• Willingness to learn new technology and systems

The Ideal Qualifications

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources
• 3-5 years experience working in the field of HR

• CPHR designation, or interest in pursuing the designation, is considered an asset
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 is considered an asset
• Access to reliable transportation to travel from site to site, as necessary

Next Steps

This is a full-time position that requires 37.5 hours of work, Monday through Friday.
