Based in Vancouver, we’re Western Canada’s premiere destination for school and graduation photography. We’re a family-run and tech-driven company that is growing fast — we’d love for you to join our team as Customer Service Manager. You’ll be responsible for leading our customer support team who takes care of all customer calls, live chats and emails, as well as checking in appointments at our main studio. Last year, we photographed over 150,000 students, so it’s definitely fast-paced.
We are looking for someone who has great people skills but also loves working on a computer. You’ll need to know how to handle hard conversations and be able to coach your team to do the same.
We are growing and hiring a Customer Service Manager to manage and maintain customer service, manage hybrid staff and maintain the studio’s physical appearance. The Customer Service Manager deals with escalated customer concerns, monitors the CSR budget, and trains staff.
Responsibilities include:
Represent the company as a first point of contact to existing and potential customers.
Develop and design procedures for efficient workflow.
Assign goals and target for team members.
Resolve monetary transaction questions between CSR and accounting departments
Act as a liaison between CSR, upper management, and other departments.
Coordinate with CSR Team leaders to deliver monthly CSR evaluations and bonus structure.
Draft and maintain seasonal contracts, extensions, early notices, and exit paperwork for CSR.
Work with other department team leaders to help make processes in the company efficient.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience providing customer service support in a business to consumer environment.
Experience managing, hiring, and mentoring a team, prefer as a Customer Service Manager.
Able to analyze data, develop and improve processes
Knowledge and practice of management methods and techniques.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of customer service software, databases, and tools.
Patient, empathetic and caring.
