The CBY Academy of Performing Arts is currently hiring for the position of “Dance Teacher” with a specialism in break dancing and/or hip hop.
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- 5+ years dance training experience in break dance and/or hip hop.
- 3+ years of proven teaching experience in break dance and/or hip hop.
- Demonstrable experience in dance performance.
- Confident, high energy and engaging. Must be able to connect with children.
Formal dance qualifications (e.g., graded dance exams, university degree etc) are not required but are beneficial. In lieu of qualifications, the candidate must demonstrate equivalent experience in teaching and performing break dance and/or hip hop.
Our new breakdancing and hip hop class is scheduled to start on Sunday September 11th 2022 and will run all year until June 2023.

Salary: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
