As a Marketing and Communications Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth. With your creative flair, you’re able to deliver effective communications (letters, emails, bulletins) to our stakeholders. You collaborate effectively with marketing, sales, and project management teams to capture requirements, provide recommendations, and brief various stakeholder teams. You’ll also ensure our websites are up-to-date, accurate and look after monthly budget control, PO creation, and invoicing.
Requirements:
Organization ; able to work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure projects are managed on time, on budget. Content creation and management : Produce high-quality and engaging content such as blog posts, articles, social media updates, infographics, videos, and more. Manage content calendars, ensuring timely and consistent content delivery across platforms. Website maintenance : update and maintain our forms, resources, and customer information on our public websites and DEI internal ESC website. Social media management : Oversee social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement. Monitor trends and best practices to enhance brand visibility and engagement. Campaign performance reporting : Prepare regular reports on marketing campaign performance, analyze key metrics, and present findings to the marketing team and senior management. Email marketing campaigns : Plan, execute, and analyze Pharmacy email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, drive customer retention, and promote product updates. Digital marketing optimization : Monitor and analyze website traffic, user engagement, and conversion rates using web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Apply data-driven insights to optimize digital marketing efforts and improve online presence. Responding : Manage our customer inboxes weekly and triage as needed. Budget Management: Has a keen eye for detail and accuracy managing our monthly budget and forecast.
Qualifications :
Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, in a related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven work experience as a Marketing & Communications Specialist or similar role.
A Problem-solver – Leading with a creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box.
Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, content creation, and social media management.
Proficient using marketing automation and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
Able to manage, monitor and wrap up campaigns with actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and project management skills. Able to juggle multiple projects at once.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Knowledge of video editing, CMS, social media scheduling software is a plus.
Experience in Canadian Healthcare industry is a bonus.
