Function/Purpose:
The Heavy Equipment Technician is responsible for the diagnose, repair, estimate, overhaul and maintenance of a variety of vehicles, equipment, machines, and tools to provide such items in a good working order and a safe operating condition.

Affiliation: Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 417
Remuneration: $37.70 to $39.91 (2023 Rates); **Dual ticketed candidates may be eligible to receive the GGMC rates.**
Hours of Work: 80 hours biweekly – 8 hours per day; 6 and 4 rotation work weeks. Sunday to Friday week one and Monday to Thursday week two. Rotating Shifts – One shift starts at 6 am and the other shift starts at 8 am.
