The Senior Manager Supply Chain Operations is a key resource in the development and commercialization of innovation, as well as modifications to existing product and packaging to deliver cost savings, enable sustainability goals, and ensure regulatory compliance for North America. This role supports supply chain functions including, but not limited to order management, procurement, quality control, inventory management, production planning, material planning, warehousing and logistics. This role is also responsible for managing key project initiatives that will drive cost savings and cost optimization across all categories. This role works with internal and external Supply Chain organizations and Businesses to gather all pertinent costs, capacities, and constraints of the current infrastructure as well as all long-term volumes.
What You’ll Do for Us
Lead Design to Value routines that include system pipeline of cost savings projects with confidence levels.
Lead projects and programs that are value and sustainability driven.
Implement process improvement initiatives (e.g., supplier or customer business processes and practices) to benefit the system and suppliers or customers by directing supply chain activities.
Develop and execute Design to Value project plans and timelines.
Identify key drivers of service to create solutions to decrease costs, increase quality and deliver additional improvements to our P&L.
Evaluate, monitor, and project long-term pipeline of cost savings and sustainability projects.
Identify and recommend improvements to supply chain metrics and performance standards using research, supplier relationships, industry knowledge and best practices to secure benefits for the KO system, suppliers and/or the customer (e.g., cost savings, new technologies and innovations, operating efficiencies).
Identify supply chain metrics (i.e. forecast variance, total spending, cost savings, etc) using data collection and survey reporting methods to monitor performance.
Secure and manage cross-functional resources.
Develop and execute project plans and timeline
Steward projects through the CIF process and maintaining Workfront records.
Facilitate the identification of project risks and establish risk management plans.
Consult with and influence management, at various levels, in and across a wide variety of functions.
Participate in the identification, development, and implementation of process improvements across the supply chain network.

Education — Bachelor’s Degree Required, Master’s Degree Preferred

Related Work Experience: — At least 5 to 7 years of work experience in Supply Chain Optimization, Supply Planning, Project Management, or relevant related field
Targeted Skills:
Distribution: Knowledge of distributor/distribution policies and procedures. Ability to understand costs/benefits of distributors and common carriers, third party capabilities, and distribution structures to support customer order processes, and product availability.
Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels using statistical models to design min/max/reorder levels. Knowledge of asset management procedures, policies and information used to optimize inventory levels and/or fill rates (e.g., balance inventory levels against inventory carrying costs).
Process Management: Process Benchmarking and Mapping: Knowledge of and the ability to apply skills in benchmarking and process mapping techniques across a supply chain (includes internal and/or third-party entities)
Supply Chain: Knowledge of elements that make up the supply chain and the interrelationship between these elements. Ability to manage and execute strategies across the supply chain to reduce costs and gain efficiencies in the completion of a quality finished good. Ability to analyze, balance, synchronizes and synergizes all internal and external resources and assets to ensure the progress and ultimate completion of a finished good.
Business Activity Processes: Ability to establish and define processes, and continuously monitor and improve processes to facilitate the execution of business activities.
Process Improvement: Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and coordinate efforts around process improvement. Ability to analyze business processes and develop systems-based solutions that will improve current state.
Program Management: Knowledge of program management techniques and practices to drive execution of multifaceted integration projects
