Job description
MJS Biolynx is looking for a full time student for a great summer employment opportunity!
Format typescript and graphic elements using computer software to produce publication-ready material. Participation with our customer service and sales team to service our Life Sciences customers’ requests as well as assist our Marketing Department in the preparation of our various marketing materials (electronic newsletters, flyers, brochures, social media, target emails…) and their presentation. The student will be guided, mentored, and coached by our Desk Top Publisher, our Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Manager and Customer Service Coordinator.
What will you do:
· Check preliminary and final proofs for errors and make necessary corrections.
· Study layout or other design instructions to determine work to be done and sequence of operations.
· Prepare sample layouts for approval, using computer software. Desktop Publishing / Graphic Software: Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro DC, Illustrator an asset but not required
· Edit graphics and photos, using pixel or bitmap editing, airbrushing, masking, or image retouching.
· Assist in preparation of Target email campaigns as required.
· Documentation of Marketing plans and ideas
· Participate in Marketing brain storming meetings
· Assist with database maintenance.
· Assist with new website development if required.
· Assist the customer service department as required.
