Hershey’s people-focused mindset is what makes our culture so sweet. * How will you fit in the big picture?* In this co-op position, the primary purpose is to ensure the successful execution of the supply & demand plan. This position will work closely with the Customer Replenishment and Demand Planning Teams to understand the goals of the Supply Chain plan and collaborate with the warehouse team, customer service and others as necessary to achieve target service-levels to our customers. * What will you do?* * * Analyze the Business: * You will need strong analytical skills and an ability to translate analysis on the business into recommendations affecting forecast variables. Those forecast variables include advertising, promotion, product changes, pricing, new products, retail programs, and other key drivers that could affect the short and long term forecast trends. * * Risk Analysis: * You must have the ability to develop conclusions and take action using available tools, historical data and supply/demand information into our critical items process and reporting. * * Team Work: * You must be able to collaborate across several facets of the organization as well as with key external customers. Keys to success include communication and alignment of risks and expectations, cross-functional problem solving, and the ability to consider other perspectives. * * Leadership:* You must exhibit strong leadership qualities and a tenacious attitude. The successful candidate will feel comfortable taking a lead role cultivating assigned projects and sharing key recommendations with different leaders within the Hershey supply chain. * * Reporting:* You will own the Monthly IBM reports for the SC directors, the weekly supply risk report for the organization, monthly 90-days supply risk outlook for IBM. And any other report(s) as may be required. * Skills and Knowledge:* * Intermediate to advance MS Excel (i.e., vlookups, vba, power pivots and others). * Basic to Intermediate Alteryx software application. * Basic to intermediate understanding and use of PowerBI. * You actively seek fresh angles, think outside the box and innovate. * You can look at an analytical dashboard and gain insights without breaking into a cold sweat. You recognize when there’s enough analysis and discussion and you jump into action. * You proactively create authentic relationships with other functions and senior management to discuss challenges and incorporate their perspective, creating trust and a mutually beneficial solution. * You think like a business owner. You connect the day to day operational dots and recognize how operational decisions impact the organization. * You own, organize and document your processes neatly from end-to-end.
