Temporary Position (1 year Contract) – (based in Markham, ON, Canada)
Core Responsibilities
Develop and implement retailer inventory plans that support the Joint Business Plan (JBP) objectives and Key Performance Metrics (KPI).
Develop inventory flow plans that improve item in-stocks while mitigating markdown, service, or OTIF risks.
Develop inventory flow plans for Holiday season and new product launches and reflect these in the planning systems.
Collaborate with sales, supply and retailer contacts to understand and align forecast assumptions.
Evaluate and work to improve retailer order quality.
Analyze topline and item level in-stocks, sales trend, fill rates, and supply availability on a weekly basis, and provide customer order recommendations.
Take action as needed to bridge the gap between the customer’s actual order and their ideal order.
Proactively collaborate with internal and customer supply chain contacts to validate customer orders, ensure that orders ship as planned, and respond to issues as they arise.
Provide appropriate clarity to the retailer on projected impact of inventory availability shortages.
Secure orders for new product launches and promotions.
Build the operational partnership with customer partners through exceptional customer service and responsiveness.

The Canada Market Operations team is responsible for developing risk-balanced demand plans and customer inventory plans that support the commercial objectives of the Canada business unit. A customer-focused organization, the team collaborates with internal functions and external customers to deliver business unit priorities and customer goals.
Within Canada Market Operations, the Inventory Management team is accountable for optimizing retail inventory flow and ownership. By engaging with the retailer’s operations team, and collaborating with internal functions such as Demand Planning, Supply Chain, and Sales, the Customer Replenishment Planner works to improve retail in-stocks while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory at retail. The Customer Replenishment Planner is an integral partner in the management of the customer relationship, and a subject matter expert with a strong understanding of the end-to-end supply chain.
Do you have what it takes?
Preferred Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field with demonstrated experience in business analytics, or equivalent working experience.
Minimum 4 years Customer Replenishment or Inventory Planning, Demand Planning, Category Management or related experience in consumer goods, pharmaceutical goods or related industry.
Minimum 2 years in customer-facing roles.
High proficiency with Excel, SAP, APO, SAP BW, and demand planning systems.
Ability to generate actionable insights from data using data analysis tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel.
Results and customer service orientation.
Proven track record to establish positive relationships with, collaborate with, and influence internal and external partners.
Demonstrates outstanding analytical skills and ability to proactively identify issues, and deliver compelling insights and fact-based recommendations.
Proficiency with retailer data systems strongly preferred.
Prior ecommerce inventory planning experience preferred.
Exhibits strong business sense and communication capabilities.
Understanding of the end-to-end value chain.
Experience with dashboard and report creation and automation.
Advanced English.
