Position Information Please note that this is a University of Ottawa Medical Associates position. The successful candidate to this vacancy will be an employee of the University of Ottawa Medical Associates and not The Ottawa Hospital.
Rotation/Shifts
Days, 4 hour shifts.
Basic Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or diploma, or equivalent
- Three to five years of previous related administrative experience;
- Knowledge of medical terminology;
- Strong knowledge of MS Office with intermediate skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision;
- Good judgement, initiative and excellent interpersonal skills;
- Experience booking appointments, consultations, procedures and filing patients reports.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using EPIC.;
- Proficiency in English and French – oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
Language proficiency requirements are based on the nature of the position and the level of interaction with French and English-speaking clients.
