Position Information
Join our team as an Epic Analyst in the Health Information System (HIS) Department!
The HIS Department is responsible for the continuing and ongoing support of patient safety and care through maintaining and improving the Atlas Alliance’s Epic Health Information System. The Atlas Alliance is a partnership of 10 Ontario healthcare institutions sharing one Epic HIS. The vision of the HIS Department is to continue to support and upgrade our integrated health information management system and increase the quality and safety of care, enhancing both the patient and provider experience now and for generations to come. You will have the opportunity to become Epic certified, a highly marketable asset.

Rotation/Shifts
Primarily days, some evenings and weekends, on-call support, 8 hour shifts.
Responsibilities
As an Epic Analyst in the Health Information System (HIS) Department, you will bring practical business and clinical knowledge to the organization by supporting and maintaining the integrity of the Health Information System. Throughout the course of your duties, you will be required to:
What You Will Bring
Undergraduate Degree in Nursing OR Allied Health Discipline;
Current Registration with a professional association or college;
Five (5) years clinical experience in health care environment;
Recent experience working with an Electronic Health Records Information System;
Proven understanding of clinical service delivery in a hospital environment;
Excellent analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills;
Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, and presentation skills;
Flexible and adaptable team player that is able to work both independently and collaborate closely with team members;
Demonstrated leadership skills;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word);
Must be eligible to work in Canada.
