The Root Cellar Village Green Grocer Looking for Administrative Assistant at Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Full Time

We are currently seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to join our Root Cellar Marketing team! As part of a dedicated Marketing Team, you will be responsible for providing support in the day to day operations of our Marketing Team. Our ideal candidate will be energetic, flexible, organized and a great team player.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Prepare in-store signage, labels and documents.
• Run errands/Pick Up Supplies.
• Coordinate in-store demo programs and online contest activities to enhance the customer experience.
• Process online orders and manage customer emails and phone calls, ensuring timely response and delivery.
• Assist with database maintenance, analytics and reporting.
• Support the ordering of office and uniform supplies.
• Prepare charitable donations, coordinate delivery and represent the company at community events.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BRING:

• Certificate in Business or Office Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 1 – 2 years administrative experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office, as well as knowledge of G Suite, Word Press, Mail Chimp and Shopify is an asset.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong attention to detail.
• A positive and friendly attitude.
• Must have valid drivers license and mode of transportation
