The Toronto Hunt Looking for Food & Beverage Supervisor at Scarborough, ON Full Time

Essential Duties

• Delivering superior food & beverage service and maximizing Member satisfaction.
• Ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high quality and Member-service standards.
• Check-in with Members – touch every table at least once every evening.
• Ensure Members have a pleasant dining experience.
• Interacts with Membership at a high level of professionalism.
• Assists in the preparation and monitors annual budget, revenue goals, and the expenses for the Food and Beverage department. Take any corrective actions that may be needed.
• Front person for dining room, clearly visible and observant in all dining venues.
• Responsible for training, planning, scheduling, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Education/Experience: three to five years related Private Club, Restaurant or Hotel experience. Training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Job Knowledge and Ability Preferences:

Ability to read and speak English will be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking Members or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).

• Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office applications.
• JONAS POS system for basic menu programming.
• JAM reservation system.

9. Ability to remain calm and courteous with demanding/difficult Members and/or situations.
10. Ability to perform job functions to standards under pressure.
11. Ability to ensure security and confidentiality of employee, member, and club information.
12. Ability to move throughout the work areas.
13. Ability to lift more than 20 lbs and bend.
14. Ability to maintain a professional image.
