Position Overview
The Faculty of Arts is currently seeking a Full-time Regular Academic Programs Specialist.
This position reports to the Pod Manager and works closely with the Head, Graduate and Undergraduate Directors to support the undergraduate and graduate programs of a particular department or departments. This position operates in an environment of continuous change as new structures, programs, budgets, policies and processes are developed and evolve to support the respective units and the Pod. The incumbent must be able to prioritize multiple tasks, manage time, meet deadlines, and produce detailed and accurate work with frequent interruptions. This position deals with routine and complex issues, providing advice and guidance to faculty members, other staff, and students. Normal hours are 35 hours/week Monday to Friday. Peak work periods occur August-September, December-January and April-May, and overtime may be required to manage workload.
