Position Overview
The Student Success Centre in the Haskayne School of Business is currently seeking a Full-time Limited Term Grad Recruitment Strategist for approximately 6 months.
This position reports to the Director, Student Services, and is a member of the Haskayne Student Services team. The team is responsible for student services including recruitment and admissions, student advising, career and work-integrated learning program development, student engagement, and co- and ex-curricular experiential learning.
HSB currently offers the following non-thesis based graduate programs that are the focus of this position: the MBA program, the Executive MBA (EBMA) program, and the Master of Management (MMgmt) program.
This position will involve a high volume of work, high-level discretionary decision making, within a fast-paced, high-stress competitive environment of continuous change, demanding a high-functioning ability to manage multiple initiatives, meet deadlines, and balance competing priorities. Frequent local travel is required, some national and international travel may be required.
The work is of a highly complex and political nature and requires considerable sensitivity towards numerous stakeholders. Work outside of normal business hours will be required.
With guidance from the Director, Student Services, this role is responsible for the development and implementation of a graduate program recruitment plan and structure that will drive growth across all current and future HSB graduate programs.
The incumbent will work collaboratively with a broad range of internal and external partners to ensure the successful delivery and continuous improvement of graduate program recruitment, as well as contributing more broadly to the Haskayne School of Business and University of Calgary brand locally, nationally, and internationally.
As a member of the Student Services leadership team, the incumbent works with the team in setting vision, strategic direction, and continuous improvement for the entire Student Services department.
