Position Overview
Student Wellness Services within Student and Enrolment Services is currently seeking a Full-time Regular Student Support Advisor – Residence.
The Student Support Advisor – Residence position reports to the Manager, Student Wellness Support with a dotted line reporting to the Manager, Residence Life. The primary purpose of this position is to provide outreach and support to vulnerable student communities while working collaboratively with Residence Services to manage at-risk student behaviors. This role will assist in the formulation of process development, researching best practice programming and implementing new programs and initiatives. This position will support Student Wellness Services: by providing initial clinical assessment, triage and case management supports to students at risk.
This position is predominately located at the U of C Main Campus; however, travel to the other campuses may also be required. Work is complex, with peak periods and short time lines for completion. This position works 35 hours a week, Tuesday to Saturday, and there will be the need to work outside of regular hours, including one evening one day per week.
