The Vanity Lab Looking for Marketing Social Media Assistant at Vancouver, BC Full Time

At The Vanity Lab in the heart of Vancouver’s trendy Yaletown neighbourhood, we combine our team of Vancouver’s top beauty miracle workers, with advanced medical technology.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the aesthetics industry and can be a multitasker when it comes to marketing activities. On this position, one day you might be filming and editing a video, the next day you might be answering to social media messages or planning posts. This position is all about adaptability and organization.

We don’t expect candidates to have all the assets listed at the end of this listing, we can adapt your role responsibilities depending on your expertise.

Requirements:

• Available to work part-time and grow into full-time (20hrs-40hrs/week).
• Available to work weekends or holidays if necessary.
• Previous experience in marketing is an asset.
• Be fluent (verbally/written) in English.
• Attention to detail, organized, efficient, able to work by yourself and as a part of a team.
• A hardworking, resourceful person with effective problem-solving skills.
• Computer savvy and able to learn and adapt to new systems with ease.

Role responsibilities:

• Overall assisting of all activities regarding the marketing department.
• Creating content in the form of still posts and videos.
• Customer service: answering social media and webchat inquiries.
• Assisting with the social media schedule and reels and posts.
• Being creative with content ideas and how to build social media presence
• Assisting with production AND editing of photos and videos.
• Assist with tracking marketing efforts and determining ROI

• Adobe Photoshop & inDesign for graphic/printed or webdesign
• Adobe Premiere for videos.
