Responsibilities
- The main responsibility of this position is to work as part of the team at Ford helping them establish their layouts, equipment, conveyors, etc., arrangements
and the facilities needed to support these installations as it pertains to their upcoming electric vehicle project.
- The candidate will be required to develop AutoCAD drawings and studies from sketches and markups provided by the project managers and project leads.
These drawings and studies will be used for internal team review and purposes and/or to give to contractors for bidding purposes, etc.
- There are no detail drawings needed to be done as this will come through the awarded contractor.
Qualifications
- need good AutoCAD and drawing presentation skills
- need drafting/construction experience preferably in the automotive sector
- excellent oral communication skills
- strong attention to detail/accuracy
- some experience as a project manager would be an asset
Education and Experience:
- Five (5) years of relevant experience
