Join the Radisson BLU Toronto Downtown Hotel as a Cook!
We are currently recruiting for a Cook to work at the Radisson BLU Toronto Downtown Hotel. The Cook’s key responsibilities include preparing delicious food that meets the Hotels standards, for the restaurant, banquets and pool patio.

Cook’s Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare food for the restaurant and banquets, all in accordance with the established standards (quality, quantity and presentation).
· Work along side other Culinary professionals, displaying teamwork in the accomplishment of daily tasks.
· Taste and monitor food that is being served, ensuring taste, temperature and presentation meet our standards.
· Responsible for cleaning work station and ensuring a neat and organized space, which helps ensure the efficient operation of the Kitchen.
· Contribute to the development of the daily specials.
· Assist with ordering supplies and completing inventory when needed.
· Follow through on daily tasks and key responsibilities, driving a culture of teamwork and fun!
· Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications for the Role:
· 2-3 years previous experience as a Cook in a busy environment, required.
· Must have valid Food Handlers Certification.
· Excellent communication and positive attitude.
· Passionate about the culinary and dining experience.
· Strong organization skills and a proficient multi-tasker.
· Smart Serve Certification is an asset, but not a requirement.
· Must be available to work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons and evenings, weekends and holidays.
· Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
