THE ROLE
The Media Sales and Business Development Lead will be TheFutureEconomy.ca’s driving force on sales. You will work with the CEO to research, identify and classify promising sales targets and design a sales strategy. You will light up LinkedIn/email/the phone/any necessary channel for outreach to potential sponsors. You will present TheFutureEconomy.ca like a boss. And you will be an absolute pleasure for potential clients to deal with – as well as our team, of course.
The right candidate will have a go-getter let’s-do-it attitude with a proven B2B sales track record – bonus points for media sales experience – or the ability to convince our CEO that they’re the one for this job, regardless of experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
No formal qualifications necessary. Your most important skills are the ability to identify a strong content-focused sales opportunity; get yourself speaking with the decision-maker; and convincing that person/team to sponsor content on TheFutureEconomy.ca
The successful candidate has excellent interpersonal skills and a track record of successfully managing relationships.
Experience in media sales and journalism/media production, as well as written/spoken French, are a bonus.
