Timberline Custom Homes Inc. is a design and build company, established since 1989. In 2014, Northey Contracting was incorporated to expand services to include heavy equipment as well. Timberline is a growing family run company with their main focus on designing and building unique, quality projects regardless of size, exceeding our clients’ expectations. The office is located in Woodview, ON, 35 minutes North of Peterborough.
Timberline Custom Homes is seeking a detail-oriented individual with extensive knowledge of the building process to join our Timberline team as a Construction Estimator/Quality Control. Duties including preparation of project estimates and contracts, client interactions, sub trade interactions and project schedule development and site support.
Successful qualifications will include:
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Estimating software and asset
– Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code
– Strong knowledge of the building and construction process
– Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings
– 8 years minimum of related experience in Cost Estimation, Construction Industry strongly preferred
– Post – Secondary degree or diploma in construction estimating preferred
The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, detail oriented and a critical thinking individual who enjoys working in a fast paced environment while adhering to deadlines.
This is a full-time position with a 44 hour work week minimum, Monday to Friday.
Competitive wage is to be discussed reliant on experience and education.
