Tippet-Richardson Looking for Driver/Mover at Toronto, Ontario, Canada Full Time

Driver’s Responsibilities:

• Complete daily Pre-Trip Inspection.
• Carry our basic vehicle maintenance.
• Ensure that all vehicle reporting is completed in timely matter.
• Maintain accurate electronic log (ELD) documents.
• Follow all operational procedure, adherence to all documentation requirements and reconcile discrepancies as required by manager.
• Be able to lift up to 65lbs, bend, squat, crouch, kneel and climb stairs consistently throughout the day.
• Assist in loading and unloading of goods and ensure goods are accurately tagged.
• Ensure all delivery items are loaded accurately and safe prior to leaving the warehouse and/or customers house.
• Conduct packing and wrapping of customer’s goods as required.
• Ensure that load is correctly placed and secured to avoid any damage to the truck or goods.
• Estimate weight to comply with load limitations and ensure safe distribution of weight.
• Provide high quality customer service.
• Ensure safe delivery of goods.
• Routine communication with dispatch throughout work shift.
• Report any customer or driving related concerns to operations.
• Ensure all tasks are completed within timelines to a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
• Conduct a daily general maintenance check of the truck and clean vehicle.
• Filing in vehicle daily logs and circle checks.
• Complete paperwork accurately and efficiently and submit to Operations office or others, as appropriate.
• Be a strong contributor to the team of fellow employees.
• Contribute to safe and healthy work environment by reporting all accidents, near misses and hazards, avoid unsafe practices at work.
• Complete other duties as directed by Management.

Mover’s Responsibilities:
