Position Overview:

The Program Coordinator of the Project Management program is responsible for ensuring program effectiveness and sustainability, and student success. This role offers administrative assistance to academic operations and contributes to the program’s effectiveness by implementing innovative program-specific objectives.

Work Schedule:

Hybrid work model, Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. This position will be expected to work on-campus a minimum of 2 days per week or as required based on business needs.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Assist the Program Manager with day-to-day operations of the Department, including program management, special projects, class coordination, and oversight of computer labs.
• Provide technical support to resolve issues reported by faculty or staff, in person and online.
• Participate in faculty activities, such as meetings, committees (internal and external), workshops, webinars, orientations, and graduation ceremonies, as required.
• Coordinate all logistical aspects of meeting requests, including booking rooms and setting up or taking down the necessary IT equipment.
• Assist in drafting agendas, taking minutes, and facilitating communication and distribution.
• Establish and maintain an efficient and detailed file management system and databases to support program outcomes and objectives.
• Participate in mandatory professional development and training in compliance with the accreditation and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• A degree or diploma in project management, business administration, operations, information and communication technology, education, or related disciplines.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in project management, academic operations, post-secondary educational environment, or working with students is preferred.
• Experience overseeing the day-to-day operations of an academic program.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively convey complex information to students.
• Proficiency in evaluating and improving curriculum and handling confidential information.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team player.
• Proficient with technology, particularly skilled in using Canvas and MS Office applications.
