The Receiving Coordinator has an important role supporting all teams within the TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley operation, including but not limited to, Food & Beverage, Golf Operations, and Hospitality. This position operates out of the Main Clubhouse and reports directly into the Executive Chef.
Responsibilities
Consistently offer professional, engaging, and friendly service.
Receive incoming shipments, ensuring distribution of products to all departments.
Inspect deliveries for accuracy, quality, and freshness.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace through daily cleaning in storage areas along with department managers.
Verify quantities received against purchase orders and invoices.
Properly store items in designated areas, following FIFO (first in, first out) principles.
Communicate with vendors regarding any discrepancies or issues with deliveries.
Ensure stock rotation.
Collaborate with kitchen and administrative staff to ensure efficient operation.
Always adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Partake in monthly inventory procedures.
Input invoices daily to Osprey systems.
Maintain temperature logs of freezers/fridges as directed by management.
Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
2-3 years of previous experience with ordering and receiving in a fast-paced environment a strong asset.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Team player with a collaborative, quality service mindset.
Knowledge of food safety practices and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to work in a team environment.
Excellent administrative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Must be able to carry and lift items weighing 25 pounds.
Must be able to stoop, bend, stand and move for extended periods of time to continuously perform essential job functions.
The ability to work a varied, flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask.
