We are looking for a dynamic Curtain Wall Job Captain to join their Design department based in the Calgary office.Perks And Benefits

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Collaborate with the Design Manager/Project Manager to develop shop drawings from initiation to final approval.
- Implement and develop assembly and fabrication drawings, cut lists, and set out drawings.
- Oversee a team of 2-5 drafting technicians, providing leadership and mentoring.
- Ensure accurate material take-offs and tracking of project changes and Architect Instructions.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to meet project deadlines for design submittals.
- Maintain technical requirements and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and execute tasks with minimum supervision.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- 5-10 years of experience as a Draftsman technician in Commercial Glazing/ Façade, including Storefront, stick, and unitized Curtainwalls.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong understanding of construction and architectural structure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Leadership qualities, self-motivated, and capable of working in a team.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
