Are you a Junior or Intermediate Architectural Designer looking for your next career step?
Our client, a global design and architect firm, is looking to hire a motivated Architectural Designer to join their growing team based in Vancouver. You will be responsible for supporting the Senior Architectural Designer and project team in all phases of design, from concept and schematic design through construction documents. The successful candidate will have excellent design skills, a passion for design, not just architecture but also interiors and landscape, and a desire to learn and grow in a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

What You Will Be Doing
- Collaborate with project team members to develop design concepts
- Assist in preparing drawings, 3D models and renderings
- Prepare and revise construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections and details
- Conduct site visits and assist in the field measuring and documenting existing conditions
- Assist in researching building codes, zoning ordinances, and other regulatory requirements
- Assist in coordinating with consultants, contractors and vendors
- Attend project meetings and assist in preparing meeting minutes
- Assist in preparing project presentations and materials
- Participate in design reviews and contribute ideas to improve project outcomes
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in architectural design or a related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong design skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient with 3D programs preferred
