We are currently looking for a Loader Operator to join our client who is North America’s largest producer of horticultural-grade peat and the largest distributor of peat moss and bark-based growing mixes.
As a Loader operator, you’ll be responsible for supplying the screening plant with peat using a front-end loader. You’ll also be using a sack and tractor and ensure that the peat supplied is of the appropriate grade for production. You’ll also maintain your equipment to ensure it’s functioning properly and perform any other tasks that management may assign.

What the best fit looks like!
- We are hiring candidates that speak French
- Experienced with operating heavy machinery such as: Excavators, Front End Loaders, Backhoe machines, Bulldozers, Compactors, Grandall/Graders, Tractors, or any earth-moving heavy equipment
- Able to wear all required PPE (hard hat, safety footwear, safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves)
- Experience working in a farm or field environment with ability to interpret land maps is an asset
Availability Requirements
- Rotational Shifts that will include the following:
- 7:00 to 15:00 (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
- 15:00 to 23:00 (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
- 23:00 to 7:00 (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
