The Role: Want to be a part of our exciting growth journey?

Reporting to the VP People & Operations the Talent Specialist will drive our talent acquisition efforts and ensure we attract, assess and hire the best candidates to our team. The role will be focused on managing end-to-end recruitment processes and supporting the evolution of our recruitment processes and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • En d-to-end Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment process, from requisition creation to offer acceptance
  • Candidate Sourcing: Proactively source candidates through a variety of channels
  • Candidate Assessment: Review job applications, conduct initial phone screens, facilitate reference checks and oversee cultural interviews to assess suitability
  • Interview Coordination & Support: Schedule and coordinate candidate interviews with hiring managers, provide guidance on interview techniques and best practices
  • Background Checks & Offer Management: Conduct appropriate background checks and manage the offer process in conjunction with hiring managers and the VP of People & Operations
  • Talent Pools: Build and maintain talent pools and pipelines for future hiring needs.
  • Talent optimisation projects: Spearhead initiatives and programs to enhance TRAILD’s hiring processes, ensuring speed, equity, efficiency, and effectiveness
  • Onboarding: Work with hiring managers and the VP of People & Operations to facilitate a smooth and successful company onboarding experience for new employees
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Drive DEI initiatives within the recruitment process to build a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Employer Branding & Recruitment Marketing: Partner with the Head of Marketing to ensure TRAILD is positioned in the best light possible to candidates
  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS) management: Ensure the ATS is managed to provide a positive candidate experience and support the development of recruitment analytics and insights
  • Vendor Relationships: Manage relationships with third -party vendors and suppliers
  • Compensation Documentation & Indexing: Create indexed resources covering salary bands, bonus structures, equity packages, and other forms of compensation. Utilise benchmarking data to inform decisions and make recommendations for adjustments as necessary to attract and retain top talent.
  • People & Operations projects: Support with the development and execution of People & Operations programs of work

Qualifications & Experience

  • Extensive experience in full -cycle recruiting, ideally from an expanding SaaS or technology-centric organisation
  • Proficiency in sourcing quality talent creatively through various channels, including online job boards, LinkedIn and referrals
  • Experience in hiring optimisation projects: A background in delivering projects that improve recruitment processes and outcomes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that support great candidate and hiring manager experiences
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A driven and self-motivated approach
  • Proficiency in ATS and recruitment software
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a geographically dispersed team
