Your Manager

Reporting to the VP Finance, Quebec & Maritimes, you will get the chance to work with an inspiring and cheerful Manager who is convinced every problem can be turned into an opportunity, who wants to collectively build something the team could be proud of and who spends an incredible amount of time in the trenches. This position will play an instrumental role in setting the infrastructure required to enable Transdev Quebec to continue its growth path sustainably.

Responsabilités:
Your Primary Responsibilities

Produce monthly reports (key metrics, financial results and variance reporting)

Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts

Produce monthly invoices and monitor the performance of multiple contracts

Prepare financial analyses and reports with reliable conclusions that management can use to implement more effective operational strategies

Assist on preparing annual audits

Contribute to performance improvement: identify opportunities, investigate and resolve findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance,

Develop models that optimize decision-making process

Support with preparing and monitoring budgets

Prepare federal, provincial, regional, and special tax returns

Perform other accounting duties as required.

Qualifications:
Your Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

CA, CGA, CMA or CPA Certification

Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience

Proficiency with Excel (Macros, Vlookups, pivot tables…)

Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process

Good understanding of IFRS, a plus

Your Skills

Advanced organizational, problem solving, analytical and financial skills required

Accuracy and attention to detail

Strong organizational and stress management skills

Bilingual (FR/EN): strong communication skills, written and spoken

Ability to join and function in a team-oriented environment

Proven ability to work with different levels of employees
