TLS is looking for experienced Logistics Coordinators to join our team for all shifts!
The qualified candidates will work as a members of our Operations Team to communicate effectively with our drivers about their lanes.
The individual will also provide updates to customers regularly and as requested.
Responsibilities:
- Dispatch drivers to pick up and deliver loads to and from customers;
- Coordinate and modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customers;
- Monitor any sudden route changes or delays during transit and establish new routes for avoid delays;
- Assist drivers with routing directions and communicate proper execution;
- Maintain high compliance to dispatch standards and operating procedures;
- Communicate specific freight requirements and procedures to drivers;
- Update customer web portals with up-to-date load information;
- Ensure proper placement of trailer pool to support customer’s daily requirement Requirements.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in trucking dispatch Preferred;
- Must be able to work independently or as a team;
- Must be able to communicate effectively with team members, other departments, customers and drivers;
- Must be available to work various shifts and weekends;
- Must be able to manage high-stress situations calmly and effectively;
- Must be able to actively manage multiple, concurrent projects Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) & Ministry of Transportation (MTO) rules and regulations preferred;
- Positive attitude with good people skills Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word) with an ability to quickly learn new software;
- Knowledge in Penske Board & TMW Knowledge in ACI/ACE Manifests, including FAST Portal & Releases.

Salary: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
