Traveland RV Supercentre Looking for Social Media Coordinator at Langley, British Columbia, Canada Full Time

The Social Media Coodinator is responsible to create and maintain a strong social presence through multiple social media channels and effectively organize and schedule all posts on our platforms. The Social Media Coordinator ensures all communication content represents our brand strategy to inspire and engage with our customers. This role is part of the Marketing team at Traveland RV and will be required to assist with projects that may not be social media related.

Job Responsibilties

• In collaboration with the Marketing Manager, you will assist in the day-to-day marketing activities to grow our audience through written, photo, and video content for our Social Media channels.
• Have a creative mind for marketing.
• Create and post engaging content through images and videos for social media platforms.
• Manage an optimal online posting schedule considering web traffic, customer engagement, and promotions.
• Willing to be outside to take pictures of units.
• Work with your team to gather, research, and create written and visual content for our blog and social media.
• Ensure consistent branding across all marketing materials.
• Communication with all our locations.
• Attention to detail.
• Able to work under pressure – Tight deadlines!
• Self motivated & organized with a positive attitude.

Education, Skills & Qualifications

• The ideal candidate has 2+ years of expereince in social media.
• Knowledge of business social media is required
• A knowledge of the RV industry is considered an asset but not a requirement
• Excellent writing skills to create captivating material for social and blog
• Strong computer skills with Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & Lightroom knowledge is an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal skills
• Willing to be outside taking pictures of RV’s in all weather
• Able to work under pressure – tight deadlines
• Self motivated, organized with a positive attitude
